My passion for organizing began after I moved outside of my parents home. As soon as I found out for myself how expensive the cost of living truly is, I started to look for ways to save money. The compulsion started innocently enough: Price matching our groceries, purchasing sale items only and strategically shopping by purchasing only what we need, which led to meal planning, so on and on it went.
I figured that if this was working with food there must be more ways to save money! It turns out organizing your home saves you a TON of money (among other things)! Once I realized how much we actually owned I stopped buying things we didn't need and suggested that my husband do the same. Today we work together to instill the same values in our daughter.
The saying 'less is more' is very cliche, but once I adopted the minimalist lifestyle I experienced firsthand how revolutionary and beneficial it can truly be.
Today, I get to help normal people achieve extraordinary results within their homes and ultimately get to witness their quality of life improve dramatically. Having the opportunity to be that helping hand for others has truly become one of my greatest joys in life.
After much thought, brainstorming and doubt, Organized Etc was born and it'll always be my baby! Thank you so much to my family and friends who have been my guinea pigs and personal cheerleaders for years. You have all truly shaped me and my business, and for that I'll forever be grateful. ♡
